Sizes for the Classic Messenger Timbuk2 Bags: These bags are available in a total of five sizes:  Extra small, Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.  As a note, if you’re considering purchasing one of these classic messengers make sure to read the reviews of consumers who use them – you will get a good idea of which bag to choose depending on how much space you need.  Generally speaking, there is more room in any one of these bags than one might expect – often a “medium” size is plenty for someone who thought they might want a “large” size.

General Usage and Review Information: More often than not I saw reviews coming from students who’s main form of transportation was a bicycle or bus.  The main “raves” from the reviews included the fact that the bags could carry so much at once, including heavy school books as well as great organization for a number of other objects that they needed such as PDA’s , cell phones, water bottles – you name it.  I actually saw no negative reviews and the only negative comment that I took note of had to do with the noise of the Velcro when opening the bag but this wasn’t enough for the person to dislike the bag whatsoever.

Recommendation: From the research I have done, Classic Messenger Timbuk2 bags are some of the highest quality and convenient bags ever – perfect for students, traveling and the larger sizes would make excellent “overnight” or weekend bags.  Most definitely a thumbs up for practicality and ease of use.
